This years new 'SATURDAY IN THE PARK' event will be on the KISS principal (Keep It Simple Stupid) a principle originally used by the US Navy way back in 1960. The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated, and unnecessary complexity should be avoided. To conform to the KISS idea, this years program is based on four main areas:

  1. An information and Veteran Outreach Activities booth so people can learn more about services and benefits provided by the VA Health Care & Veteran's Services Organizations.
  2. The Knights of Columbus will serve the food from Free Will offerings
  3. Various Service Organizations and guests are encouraged to bring the Free Will Offerings. Kid's are welcome. Feel free to bring frisbees and hour own folding chair, and note there will NOT be a special children's section this year.
  4. The Veterans Art Show will be held in the Auditorium.

How You Can Help Support Our Veterans

Visitors are encouraged to bring canned goods as separate Free Will Donations.
